Billing Overview

Float16 uses a prepaid credit system. Top up your account balance before using services.

How Billing Works

Prepaid Credits

Float16 uses a prepaid balance system:

  • Balance in USD: Your account balance is displayed in US dollars
  • Pay Before Use: Top up credits before using services
  • Real-time Deductions: Credits are deducted as you use resources
  • Per-Second Billing: GPU instances are billed per second of running time

Viewing Your Balance

Your current balance is displayed in the top navigation bar. Click on the balance to access the Payment page.

Accessing Payment Settings

  1. Click on your balance in the top navigation bar
  2. Or navigate to Settings (from Account menu) > Payment

Payment Page

The Payment page has four tabs:

Overview Tab

  • Credit Balance: Shows your available balance in USD
  • Top-up Button: Add credits to your account
  • Stripe Settings: Manage payment methods via Stripe
  • Contact Support: For bank transfers or invoice requests

Invoice Tab

View your monthly invoices:

  • Invoice ID (links to Stripe invoice)
  • Invoice Month
  • Cost in USD

Balance History Tab

Track all billing transactions:

  • Filter by month
  • View datetime, action, and amount for each deduction
  • See GPU instance usage charges

Credit Tab

View credit history:

  • Credits added from coupons
  • Admin-added credits
  • Effective and expiry dates

GPU Instance

Payment Methods

Credit/Debit Cards (via Stripe)

Set up your payment method through Stripe:

  1. Go to Payment > Overview
  2. Click Go to Stripe
  3. Add your card in the Stripe portal

Bank Transfer

For bank transfers or invoice payments:

  1. Contact support@float16.cloud
  2. Provide your account details
  3. Request invoice or bank transfer instructions

What Happens When Credits Run Out?

When your balance reaches zero:

  • Running GPU instances will be stopped
  • Top up your account to resume services
